I Heart Faces – Textures!
I’m excited to be able to participate in the I Heart Faces challenge this week. I’ve only starting playing with textures and I can already tell that I have a new-found love!! This sweet baby boy belongs to my bestfriend and as I was proofing her gallery, it just spoke to me. It screamed out for special texture. Honestly, it’s the first time I’ve done something like this on a client’s image – and I think I’m hooked! I hope you all enjoy!

There are some amazing entries. Click on this to check some of them out for yourself!!

Operation Love ReUnited {Friendswood Family Photographer}
I always enjoy OpLove sessions. I think it’s my military background – I understand what these famlies are going through. This family had just gotten daddy home the day before our session and the kiddos were still very wound up! I know they wish he was home for good, but unfortunately, he has to go back in 2 weeks. His wife has my profound respect and admiration – there is no way I could handle doing what she does! I think it’s important to remember that those left behind at home need the same amount of love, prayers, and support as those who have been deployed. To the Anderson family – I hope you enjoy your time together as a family. It was a please meeting you yesterday. Enjoy your sneak peak!!
Santa Came Early….
and he brought my best friend and her husband a beautiful baby boy. Jackson is a doll and I’m so glad I got to get in some cuddle time before I had to come back to Houston. (I drove from Canadian to Oklahoma twice for this little man – once for his birth, then a again a week later for his pictures!!) But I didn’t mind, It was nice to spend time with his mama again!! I know you guys are anxiously waiting to see some of these! Congrats again John & Amanda, he’s perfect!!
2009 Auld Lang Syne
We’re just 3 days into the new year before I got around to posting my 2009 year-in-review post… not too shabby for me
Now, I have to get caught back up on weddings and albums so keep you eyes peeled for a 2009 Year-In-Review post from my personal life pictures! I love showing off pictures of my 2 munchkins. To my 200 clients – thank you for making my year a great success!! I appreciate each and every one of you! Here’s to hoping that you all have a happy and prosperous 2010!!!
Double Trouble {Canadian, Tx Portrait Photographer}
These two certainly worked me during this session, but they are so darn cute! Not that I’m biased or anything (Their daddy is my cousin!) I think they were both scared of my lights and didn’t want to smile or even look at my camera, but the minute I got it all packed up they were begging for pictures!! I know their MiMi is anxiously waiting for these pictures, so I’m gonna post quickly and get back to editing. I got back to Houston on Thursday and will be up to my eyeballs in editing until classes start again on the 11th!! I was gone 16 days and drove over 2,000 miles! I’m exhausted!! But here’s the two adorable cousins!!
